Gail Evans
Actor, Writer, Director
Gail Evans in Tracks Dance Company's 'The Cook, The Queen, and the Kelly'
Gail has over 25 years experience as an Australian theatre maker, working in acting, writing and directing. Gail began her performing career in Perth as an actor/devisor for Arts in Working Life projects. She came to Darwin as an actor with the State Theatre Company of the Northern Territory in 1987 and later formed Knock-em-down Theatre with Stephen Carleton, writing, performing and producing original work. She has also acted professionally for Darwin Theatre Company, Tracks Dance, Business Unusual, JUTE theatre (Cairns) Corrugated Iron Youth Arts and represented both WA and the NT in national Theatresports championships and appeared in ABC TV’s Theatresports series. Gail’s plays have been published by the Australian Script Centre and Playlab Press.


Nicky Fearn
Artistic Director – Business UnUsual (BUU)

Nicky Fearn in Business UnUsual's 'Tracey'
Nicola has worked in professional theatre as a performer, writer, teacher and director since 1980. 
She works regularly in both Australia and the UK. Nicola specialises in physical theatre and visual theatre using mask. She is the Artistic Director of Business UnUsual (BUU). In the UK Nicola works regularly with Horse and Bamboo Theatre and worked with Trestle Theatre Company from 1992-2004. In Australia, Nicola has worked with Sydney Theatre Company, Darwin Theatre Company, Knock-em-Down, Tracks and Karelka Productions. She was actor and puppeteer in The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (2002-03). Nicola directed Not Like Beckett for DTC (2007) and Your Hand to My Mouth Grant St Theatre, Melbourne (2006). She was assistant to director Simon Phillips on The Glass Soldier (MTC 2007). Nicola worked with Paula Van Beek directing and facilitating Dangerous Melbourne for The Next Wave Festival, and with Rinske Ginsberg on Kin.


Monthatip Suksopha (Tip)
Artistic Director – Wandering Moon Performing Group
Monthatip (Tip) is the founder & Director of Wandering Moon Performing Group. Tip has worked as an actress, Director, and Lecturer in Shadow Puppet theatre. With Wandering Moon she has performed in many countries across Asia and has been invited as Artist in Residence to the USA, Australia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Austria. Along with her performing and directing roles, Tip has developed and facilitated many community cultural development programs. In this role, Tip has worked with refugees in border camps, in hospitals on a Community program for the recovery and prevention of natural disaster in Thailand, with minority children on a Campaign on Children’s Rights, and created a work on gender issues to tour the Mekong Region.


Nutjaporn Swasdiprom (Bow)
Performer, Puppeteer – Wandering Moon Performing Group
Nutaporn (Bow) has a BA in English & American Literatures. She is a puppeteer, actor and dancer. Bow is a principal member of Wandering Moon, performing and touring with the Company for the last 10 years. She has assisted in the delivery of workshops as an artist and interpreter, working with minority children, refugees, international artists, and hospital staff. Bow has also performed as an actor in Thailand with the International WOW Company. She has worked on international feature films as an interpreter and casting assistant.


Sujittra Prasert (Parn)
Performer, Puppeteer, Designer – Wandering Moon Performing Group 
Sujittra (Parn) graduated from the Fine Art Faculty of Chiang Mai University in 2010. Her paintings have been exhibited in several galleries in Chiang Mai including an installation performance at the Chiang Mai Art Museum. Parn has toured as a Designer, Builder and Performer with Wandering Moon, including performances and residencies in Singapore, the USA, Australia, and the Philippines. She has delivered workshops in painting, puppet-making, and kite making for programs with Save the Children (UK), the Art in Hospitals Project, and the Art for Global Health Project.


Fiona Carter
Producer - Yum Cha Arts
Fiona originally trained and worked as a professional trumpeter, and has a Bachelor of Music degree
from the Canberra School of Music. She moved to England to study a Masters in Management and 
Cultural Policy at the University of Warwick and spent 3 years as Marketing Manager of Norfolk & Norwich Festival Productions. Fiona moved to Darwin in 2000. While based in the NT, Fiona has been Manager of several arts organisations and has also worked for Arts NT in Darwin and Alice Springs. Fiona is currently Company Manager for Corrugated Iron Youth Arts and Finance Officer for Music NT, as well as working as a freelance arts manager with other Top End arts organisations. Fiona is passionate about Asia and completed an Asialink Management Residency in Indonesia in 2003. She now produces independent arts projects linking Asian and NT artists.
